On February 22, 2008, Alex, Jack and many of their family and friends gathered to leaflet in downtown Berkeley in celebration of Alex’s birthday. Alex’s sisters Jessica (from Rochester, MN) and Katherine (from Anchorage, AK) flew in for the event. Jack’s brother Todd and his partner Luis made the arduous trek across the Bay Bridge. Alex’s long time friend Cory came from Santa Rosa. Mark and Eric traveled 6 blocks from their home. Other friends there were Tammy and Chris (who did the video), Ari and Becky, and Emily and Corey.
